Doris Herman, 89, of West Harrford, formerly of Great Neck, N.Y., Lee, Mass., and Boynton Beach, Fla., died Jan. 22 of complications from COVID-19. She was the widow of Robert Herman. She was born in Brooklyn. She is survived by her children, Kathy Herman Smiley of West Hartford, Patricia Herman McAnally of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Jeffrey Herman of Stockbridge, Mass.; her sister Roberta Gould of Boca Raton, Fla.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Michael Smiley.
