Elaine G. Kagan, 87, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of West Hartford, died Dec. 28. She was the wife of Eugene Kagan. Born in Newark, N.J., and raised in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Rose White Silverman and her stepfather Charles Silverman. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters. Tammy Kagan Levine, Caren Kagan Evans and Julie Susan Kagan; her grandchildren, Ross Weiner and his wife Jane, Elizabeth Weiner Miller and her husband husband Andy, and Rachel and Joshua Evans; her great-grandchildren, Spencer and Lilly Weiner and Evan Miller; and several nieces and nephews She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Marc Levine.
