Mel Goldstein, 102, of Stamford, died Dec. 24. He was the son of Joseph and Hattie Goldstein of Brooklyn, N.Y. He served in the United States Armed Forces during World War II. He is survived by his sons, Howard Goldstein and David Goldstein, generations of nephews and nieces, and caregivers who remain part of the family.
