Lorraine Z. Klappholz, 89, of Old Saybrook, died Sept. 6. She was the widow of Lowell Klappholz. Born in Bayonne, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Meyer and Dora Rubin Zarchin. She is survived by her children, Marcy Littlefield of Columbia, Lisa Klappholz of Old Saybrook, and Michael Klappholz  and his wife Gail of Hernando, Ms.; her tsisters, Rhoda Meisner of Rye Brook, N.Y., and Sandy Herzog of Old Saybrook,; and her grandchildren, Mandy  Schooling and her husband Mike Schooling, Christopher Cooper and his wife Jennifer, Stephanie Walley and her husband Jacob, and Logan Littlefield; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Gary Littlefield.
