Herbert Landorf, 97, died August 18. He was born and raised in New Haven. He was the widower of Carolyn Brehm. He served as a commissioned officer in World War II, in which he fought in many famous battles. Herb is survived by his children, Hilary and her wife Catherine, Kenneth and Richard; his granddaughter Stefanie Landorf; and his partner Miriam Lillian. He was also predeceased by his son Fred.
