Joan R. Kemler, 94, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of West Hartford, died August 9. She was the widow of Dr. R. Leonard Kemler of Hartford. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Nellie (Cohen) Rosen. She was a member of The Emanuel Synagogue.She was also predeceased by her brother Malcolm Rosen and his wife Muriel. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Goodkind and her husband Robert of Rye, New York; her children, David Kemler and his wife Susan of Alamo, Calif., and Louise Kaufman and her husband Todd of West Hartford; her grandchildren, William, Maxwell, James, and Grace; and many nieces and nephews.
