Dorothy Julia (Horry) Stone, 97, of Plantsville, died on July 18. She was the widow of Paul Robert Stone. Born in Perth, Western Australia, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Esther Horry. She is survived by her children, Karen Stone, and Michael Stone and his wife Susan; her grandchildren, Roy Sous and his fiancée Thuan Nguyen, and Natalie Sous and her husband Richard Iorio; her great-granddaughters, Anneliese (Anna) Iorio, and Kathy Campbell; her sister Gloria Herman of Perth, Western Australia; her sister-in-law Kaye Horry in Sydney, Australia; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers Harry, Sol, and Lionel Horry, and her sisters Sylvia Hartz and Pauline Adelman.
