Richard Pianin, 82, of Stamford, died Feb. 18. He was the husband of Suzanne Lang Pianin. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of Bessie Pincus Pianin and Benjamin Pianin. He served as a construction engineer in the Army Corps of Engineers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Deborah Pianin and David Pianin; his brother Al Pianin; and many friends.
