Sidney Mintzer, 101, of Albany, died Feb. 10. He was the husband of June M. Burg. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Julius and Sadie Mintzer. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Anna Mintzer of Manhattan, and Hope Igdalsky and her husband Alan of Manchester; his sister Pearl Sanders of Albany; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Milton, and Charles.
