Dorothy Brody Levine, formerly of West Hartford, passed away in Grand Ledge, Mich. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y., on Sept. 12, 1918, and died on Feb. 9 at the age of 101. She was a lifelong resident of Hartford and a graduate of Weaver High School. She worked for Aetna Insurance Co. until her marriage to Joseph Levine. Dot and Joe were members of The Emanuel Synagogue, where Dot was active in the Sisterhood, having served as president. She was predeceased by her parents, Hyman and Ida Brody, her husband Joseph Levine, and her sisters Mildred Glaubinger, Betty Aaronson and Jeanette Yalen. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Hogle and Barbara Levine, and her granddaughters Cynthia Hogle and Pamela Hogle.
