Melvyn Alan Koshar, 77, of Rocky Hill, died Jan. 24. He was the son of the late Harold and Sophie Koshar. He served as a reservist in the Unites States Army. He is survived by his daughter Alexandra (Alex) Thompson and her husband Chase Thompson; his grandchildren, Mack William Thompson and Juliette James Thompson; his nephew Lance Schad; his brother-in-law Ronnie Schad; his aunt Millie Kaufmann; and several cousins. He was also predeceased by his sister Rochelle Koshar Schad, his niece Hillary Schad, and several aunts and uncles.
