Dr. Louis Mendelson, 79, of Bloomfield, died Dec. 29. He was the husband of Margie Mendelson. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of Abraham and Jeanette Mendelson. He served for two years in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, David and Andrew; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and his nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister Elaine Levin.
