Jean J. Weil, 96, of West Hartford, died Nov. 23. She was the widow of Louis Goldstein and Gershon Weil. Born in London, England, she was a daughter of Isaac and Sophie (Teitlebaum) Stecker. She was a member of Beth El Temple and the former Beth Hillel Synagogue. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Jessica Lynn Kostin, her stepson David Weil, and five of her nine siblings. She is survived by her children, Michele Kostin and her husband Dane Kostin, and Stewart Goldstein; her stepson Andy Weil; her grandchildren, Jamie Norris and her husband Russell, Jeremy Kostin and his wife Laura, Scott Goldstein and his wife Debbie, Whitney Chernoff and her husband Keith, Stephen Goldstein and his wife Heather, Elisabeth Kostin and her husband Doron Roth, and Marni Pastor and her husband Jon; 18 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Sylvia, Doris, Stanley and Gerald.
