Rob Tobias, 60, died Nov. 15. Born in Hartford and raised in Simsbury, he was the son of Walter Tobias and the late Evelyn Tobias. In addition to his father, he is survived by his son Zack; his fiancé, Bridget Ruehl; Bridget’s daughters, Annie and Chloe; his step-mother Evelyn; his brother Steven Tobias and his wife Robin; his sister Karen Stanford and her husband Ken; and several nieces and nephews.
