Stanley F. Weiner, 95, of Avon, died Oct. 9. He was the husband of Esther (Jaffee) Weiner. He was the son of the late Abraham and Bertha (Horenstein) Weiner. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps and in the U.S. Army, Navy and Coast Guard. He was a life-long member of Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jane W. Freeman and her husband Hamilton of Avon, and Judith W. Greene and her husband Bernard of Farmington; his granddaughters, Lindsay Kent and Abigail Greene; his sister Selma R. Weiner; his brother-in-law and sister-in law, Rita and Jay Jaffee; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Morton Weiner and Robert Weiner.
