Video of the Week – In memory of Leonard Cohen (1934-2016)

Nov. 7, 2019, will mark the third anniversary  of the passing of Leonard Cohen, one of the greatest Jewish poet-songwriters of the 20th century. As a tribute to his legacy, Cantor Azi Schwartz of Park Avenue Synagogue in New York recorded one of Cohen’s most famous songs, “Hallelujah,” with the Hebrew lyrics of Psalm 150 which is recited daily in our tefilot (prayers). May the memory of Leonard Cohen be for an eternal blessing.
