Benjamin “Bob” Dworetsky, 97, of West Hartford, died Aug. 10. He was the husband for 67 years of the late Sally (Yellin) Dworetsky. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Nathan and Rose (Goralnick) Dworetsky. For 50 years, Benjamin and Sally owned and operated the Blue Hills Deli and Sally and Bob’s Restaurant. He had been a long-time member of the former Teferes Israel Synagogue in Bloomfield. He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda B. Zieky and her husband, Ronald, of West Hartford; two sons, Michael Dworetsky and his wife, Ellen, of Boston, and Kenneth Dworetsky and his wife, Arlene, of Glastonbury; a brother-in-law, Ronald Yellin and his wife Nancy of New Jersey; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Daniel.
