Pearle Ruth Ziegler Schaperow, 99, of New Haven, formerly of New London, died June 7. She was the widow of Farley Schaperow. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Norwich, New York, she was the daughter of the late Moe and Minnie Simons Ziegler. She is survived by her children, Jim Schaperow and his wife Aleksandra Schaperow-Duniskaya of Clearwater, Fla., and Jesse Todd of New Haven; her daughter-in-law Susan Schaperow of Bethany; her grandchildren, Alani, Kerry and Josh Schaperow; and two great-grandchildren, Alonzo and Kamden Schaperow. She was also predeceased by her son Jeffrey Schaperow, her brother Morton Ziegler, and her sister Irma Pollock.
