Dr. Alan H. Cooper, 79, of Hamden, died June 17. He was the husband of Judy Slifer Cooper. He served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he was chief of Endodontics at McDill Air Force Base. He was predeceased by son Jonathan Adam Cooper. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Sharon Mogel and her husband Greg of West Hartford, and Leslie Cooper Gold of Westport; his grandchildren, Jordan, Aaron, Jocelyn, Alex and Vanessa; and his brothers, Bert Cooper and his wife Jean of Fair Lawn, N.J. and David Cooper and his wife Fay of Alexandria, Va.
