Murray Bilmes, 93, of West Hartford, died May 29. He was the widower of Frances Eve Bilmes. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Saul and Celia Bilmes. During World War II, he served as an ensign in the U.S. Navy on the supply ship the USS Mazer, in the Pacific theater. He is survived by his children, David Bilmes of Southbury, Jonathan Bilmes and his wife Barbara Becker of West Hartford, Orah Bilmes of San Diego, Joshua Bilmes of New York City, and Noah Bilmes and his wife Jennifer of Rocky Hill; his grandchildren, Elie, Eli, Naomi, Uri, Matthew and Isaac; and two great-grandchildren.
