Dr. Jay Lawrence “Larry” Tanenbaum, 90, of North Haven died April 7. He was the husband of Diane Tanenbaum. He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Dr. Harry and Jeannette Tanenbaum. He is survived by his children, Lisa Foster and her husband Rick, Lori Tanenbaum Zaret, Betsy Bodling and her husband Ed, Ellen (Missy) Rubenfeld and her husband Steven, and Sharra Lebov and her husband Roy Nini; 10 grandchildren three great-grandchildren; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Irwin Schultz, Ellen Janos, and Barbara and Jeffrey Small; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Marcus Lebov, and his sister Ruth Schultz.
