Joseph “Josh” Edelson, 92, of Bloomfield, formerly of West Hartford, died April 19. He was the husband of Virginia “Ginny” Edelson, and the widower of Davida Schatz Edelson. Raised in Berlin, he was the son of the late Meyer and Leah Edelson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Frances Kaufman; his nephews, Michael Barker and his wife Shelley, and Michael Kaufman and his wife Alexa; his niece Lisa Rosenfield and her husband John Nimon; his step-children, Glenda McKinley, Gary McKinley and Liz Gordon; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several step-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his sisters Edith Barker and her husband Joseph, and Mildred Edelson, and his step-children Lewis Schwartz and Leesa Luna.
