Solomon “Solly” Dashefsky, 94, of West Hartford, formerly of Boca Raton, Fla., died March 30. He was the widower of Gertrude (Goodman) Dashefsky. Born in New York, N.Y., he was the son of the late Jacob and Ethyl (Winkler) Dashefsky. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Eustis in Virginia. He is survived by his sons, Howard Dashefsky and his wife Sabrina of West Hartford, and Jeffrey Dashefsky and his wife Mercedes of San Diego, Calif.: his grandchildren, Reyna, Michael, Isaac, and Daniel; and his sister-in-law Beverly Kowaluk; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Max, Julie and Ida.
