Shirley (Ledewitz) Aaronson, 97, of Hamden, died March 13. She was the widow of Judge Lester H. Aaronson. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Jacob and Bessie Neveloff Ledewitz. She is survived by her children, Richard Aronson and his wife Linda of Chicago, Ill., Stuart Aronson of New York City, and Robert Aronson and his wife Margaret of Los Angeles; her sister Phyllis Blumberg; her grandchildren, Matthew (Kate), Josh (Lesley), Emily (Selom), James, Rachel and Jonah; and her great-grandchildren, Alex, Caroline, Sarah, William and Evy. She was also predeceased by her siblings, William Ledewitz, Sylvia Oliver Rosen, Nathan Ledewitz and Frieda Axelrod White.
