Eva Greenwood, 88, of Jamaica Plain, Mass., died Feb. 13. She was the widow of Fred H. Greenwood. Born in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Martha and Max Pollenz. A survivor of the Holocaust, she was evacuated from Vienna in March 1939 on the Kindertransport. She is survived by her children, Susan Greenwood and Arnie Lucinda Stewart of Jamaica Plain, MA, Jeffrey and Della Greenwood of Simsbury, and John Greenwood and his wife Karen of Bellmore, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Sarah Fleming of Pennsylvania, Amanda Caroca of North Carolina, Alyssa Berlavski of New York, Michael Greenwood of New York, and Elijah Greenwood-Stewart; six great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends, including Lydia Saderman, who she met in 3rd grade and remained lifelong “sisters”.
