Saul “Sy” Dresner, 89, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Newburgh, NY, West Hartford and Bloomfield, died Jan. 1. He was the husband of Edith (Turkisch) Dresner. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Dresner. He was a longtime member and former president of Beth El Temple in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Ron Dresner and his wife Stacey of West Hartford, and Steven Dresner of Washington, D.C.; his granddaughters, Nicole, Gabrielle, Hayley and Harley; his sister Bess Bosin of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Dresner.
