Lorrie (Lorraine) Schaefer, 89, of New Haven, died Nov. 29. She was the widow of Edwin Schaefer. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Katie (Swersky) Levitz. She is survived by her children, Leslye Schaefer and her husband Michael Horehlad of Westbrook, and Allan Schaefer and his wife Alixs of Wellington, Florida;  her grandchildren Jeremy and Ari; and many cousins and family members. She was also predeceased by her sister Ruth Cohen and her husband Bob, and Ida Mauskopf and her husband Ernie.
