Three IDF Soldiers Wounded in a Terrorist Ramming Attack

A Muslim terrorist injured three IDF soldiers doing engineering work on the road between Jerusalem and Hebron in a car ramming attack.

The terrorist has been identified as Ramzi Adnan Daoud Abu Yabas, of the refugee camp Deheishe, right near the scene of the ramming attack. Abu Yabas swerved his car directly into the three soldiers working on the road wounding all three. He then fled the scene immediately after the attack. Other IDF soldiers in the area shot and killed the Abu Yabas.

MDA emergency first responders treated the three victims at the scene. The injured were then evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

“When we arrived at the scene of the attack, along with an army medical team, we saw three youths, fully conscious, walking about,” said senior MDA paramedic Abba Richman.

“Two of them were suffering from minor contusions and dry wounds, while a third suffered injuries to his limbs. We provided first aid treatment in the field, then loaded them onto ambulances and evacuated them to hospitals while they were fully conscious and in stable condition.”
