Martin Friedberg, 92, died Nov. 5. He was the widower of Ethel (Melicovsky) Friedberg. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in New Longon, he was the son of the late Michael and Clara (Aronowitz) Friedberg. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a grander in the United States Army Infantry in the European Theater. He is survived by his children, Steve Friedberg and his wife Trudy, and Bette Giordano and her husband Felix; his grandchildren, Noah Friedberg and his wife Yoshiko, Josiah Friedberg, and Shayna (Ryan) Perkins and her husband Ryan; his great-grandchildren, Eden and Asher; his sister Sonia Buchanan of Maine; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Miriam Ilvento.
