Alan B. Siegel, 68, of Stamford died Sept. 25. He was the husband of Shirley Rothman Siegel. Born in the the Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of the late Ruth and Louis Siegel. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard, based at the Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Elena Mandell and her husband Steve of New York City; his granddaughter Layla; his brother Rick Siegel of Chicago; his in-laws, Gayle and Howard Rothman of Stamford, Joan and Herb Blank of Manchester and Sheldon Rothman; and several nieces and nephews.
