WEST HARTFORD – Denise Jones has been named executive director of Hoffman SummerWood, an assisted living community located in West Hartford.

Previously, Jones served as executive director of three assisted living facilities. She is also a registered nurse with over 26 years of knowledge as a nursing administrator and educator with an emphasis on geriatric health, safety and staff education.

Denise has also actively served as chairperson, advisor, and member of various healthcare and safety committees in the Massachusetts area. She began her career as an RN with a degree from Saint Francis School of Nursing and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University in Boston. She is a member of the National Nursing Honor Society.
