BCHA uses hot cocoa to take aim at school spirit

Schools are for learning – and a heavy dose of school spirit helps make the learning easier and more pleasurable. That was the thinking of Rabbi Yehuda Jeiger, assistant principal for Judaic studies of Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy (BCHA), when he showed up at the BCHA-Upper School one recent afternoon with loads of hot cocoa in tow…and proceeded to set up a one-of-a-kind hot cocoa bar with just about every topping imaginable for the students to choose from. “It’s our very first ‘Pop Up at Morning Flex,’” he explained, stressing the of building ruach – school spirit. “It was a really fun treat and a great way to get to know the kids outside the classroom, and we look forward to many more fun mornings with our special high school students.”
