Bertram Morris Sillman, 92, of Boynton Beach, Fla. died August 11. He was the widower of Miriam (Stroh). Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Meyer and Esther Sillman. He served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation radioman. He was a founding member of Beth Hillel Synagogue in Bloomfield. He was also predeceased by his son Alan, his sister Dorothy, and his two brothers, Irving and Arthur. He is survived by his wife Tovia (Kagan Epstein); his children, Gary Sillman and his wife Robin, and Joel Sillman and his wife Lillia; his step-daughters, Andrea (Paul) Gerber, Judy (Richard) Spiesman, and Karen (Joe) Meir; and his grandchildren, Melanie, Jessica, Julia and Mimi Sillman, Robyn (Geoff) Gerber; Nicole (Malcolm) Ascher; Robert, Katie and Samantha Spiesman; and Marissa, Rick and Brad Meir.
