Joan Flax Fields of Stamford, died June 25, 10 days before her 85th birthday. She was the widow of Robert Fields. She was the daughter of Irving and Cyrille Flax. She is survived by her children, Steven August and his wife Anne, Andrea Oley and her husband Bob, Ellen Osman, and Kate Osman and her husband Bart; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aher sister Jane Flax Lewis; and a niece and nephew.
