David Elias Klar, 94, of Moodus, died June 8. He was the widower of Miriam (Mackover) Klar. Born in The Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of the late Isidore and Yetta (Stein) Klar. He is survived by a son, Gary Klar and his wife, Marjorie, of Hancock, NH; two daughters, Iris Klar of Moodus, and Amy Gallagher and her husband, Jerry, of Evergreen, Colo; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson, Andre.
