David N. Hartstein, 68, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of West Hartford, died June 4. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Arnold Hartstein and Freda (Jaffe) Hartstein Bernstein, and the stepson of the late Irvin Bernstein. He is survived by his brother Allan Hartstein and his wife Phyllis of Boca Raton, Fla.; his nephews, Marc, of North Plainfield, N.J., and Jonathan of Louisville, Colo.; and his uncle, Morton Jaffe of New York City.
