Dr. Carol Goldenthal, 98, of West Hartford, died June 18. He was the husband of Jolene (Bleich) Goldenthal for 72 years. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Moses and Betty (Segal) Goldenthal. While at Yale School of Medicine, he served as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Peter Goldenthal and his wife, Natalie Landro, of Wynnewood, Pa., and Lance Goldenthal and his wife, Jann, of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren, Rebecca Goldenthal and Steven Thomas, Sara Goldenthal and Patrick Quinlan, Lillian Carol Goldenthal and Joshua Ho-Walker, Ariel Goldenthal, and Maddie Goldenthal; and his nieces and nephews and their families, Soll, Anne, Leah and Rachel Goldenthal, Richard and Judie Goldenthal, Abby Goldenthal and Peter Bucchianeri, Aaron Goldenthal, and Anne Goldenthal; and Joan, Jason, Willie, Max and Eli Grear. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Goldenthal.
