…in Bridgeport

In March, at an open forum hosted by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropy of Upper Fairfield County, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal gave his Connecticut constituents an inside look at hot topics and current issues unfolding on Capitol Hill. In addition to his visit to the Bridgeport Federation, this year Blumenthal also made similar stops at the New Haven, Greenwich and Stamford Federations.

Earlier this month, Congressman Jim Himes visited Stamford’s Jewish High School of Connecticut’s Israel Advocacy Club to discuss recent events both at home and abroad, and how they impact the work he does in Congress. Following his talk, Himes took questions from students, which focused on the Congressman’s support for Israel and other topics.
