David Silverman, 93, of West Hartford, formerly of New Jersey, died May 4. He was the widower of Elise (Eilenberg) Silverman. He was born in the Bronx, New York. He served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed on the USS Oklahoma City during World War II. He was a member of The Emanuel Synagogue. He is survived by his children, Sheila Silverman of West Hartford, and Marvin Silverman and his wife Allison Levi of El Granada, Calif.; and his grandchildren, Shira and Talia Feldman, and Zachary and Gabrielle Silverman.
