Dr. Burton L. Schweitzer, Ed.D., 78, of West Hartford, died April 28. He was the husband of June (Farber) Schweitzer. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Morton and Josephine (Goldstein) Schweitzer. He was an active member of Congregation Beth Israel of West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew M. Schweitzer and his wife Karen of Denver, Colo., Robert A. Schweitzer and his wife Sandi of West Hartford, Gregg D. Schweitzer of Portsmouth, N.H., and Leslie K. Tseytlin and her husband Shimon of Boca Raton, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
