Kathleen A. (Mitchell) Mendelsohn, 85, of Fairfax, Va., formerly of Bloomfield and Avon, died May 14. She was the widow of Louis I. Mendelsohn. Born in Troy, Maine, she was the daughter of Walter J. Mitchell and Ida E. (Hale) Mitchell. She is survived by her children, Eric and his wife Emily, and Carrie and her husband Larry; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Leah, Joey, and Lexi
