Theodor (Ted) Max Simon of Coventry, formerly of West Hartford, died April 10. He was the widower of Marjorie (Gaber) Simon. A Holocaust survivor, he was born in Essen, Steele, Germany in 1922. He was the son of Moritz Simon and Martha (David) Simon. He is survived by his children, Anita and her husband Lars, Eric and his wife Sandye, and Tom and his wife Deborah; his AFS exchange student son Edward Kofi Osei and his wife Joyce; his sister Hannah Brandt of Sao Paulo, Brazil; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his brother Ernesto Simon.
