Doris E. (Brown) Horenstein, 88, of Bloomfield, died April 4. She was the wife of Jay S. Horenstein. Born and raised in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Brown. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, John D. Horenstein and his wife Melissa, and Kenneth P. Horenstein and his wife Lauren Krasnow; and her grandchildren, Emily, Katie and Jacob Horenstein, of Plainview, N.Y., and Josh and Rachel Horenstein of West Hartford.
