Joel Grauman Levy, 70, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Dec. 29. He was the husband of Joan Mackler Levy. Born in West Hartford, he was the son of Edna and David Levy. He graduated from the Kingswood-Oxford School. He graduated Cum Laude from Brandeis University, after which he served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He then graduated Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut School of Law. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister-in-law, Lisa Levy and her husband Jim Schulwolf, of West Hartford; two nephews, Erik Schulwolf and Daniel Schulwolf, both of Boston; and a niece, Sara Schulwolf, of Providence, R.I.
