Bernice ‘Bunny’ (Brightman) Bass, 91, of West Hartford, died Jan. 16. She was the wife of J. Zalman Bass. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Clara (Kravitz) Brightman. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Donna Cohen and her husband Elie of Israel, and Debra Elliott and her husband Neal, of Acton, Mass.; her grandchildren, Yaelle, Sari, Avi and Danny Cohen of Israel, and Matt and Josh Elliott of Massachusetts; her great-granddaughter Imani; and her brother David Brightman and his wife Reva of New Mexico.
