Herbert Elliott Golinsky, 95, of West Hartford, formerly of Avon, died Dec. 6. He was the widower of Doris Baron Golinsky. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in Colchester and Hartford, he was the son of the late Rebecca (Watman) and Max Golinsky. He is survived by his daughter Iris Spungin and her husband Eric; his grandchildren Lindsay Donovan and her husband William, Gregory Spungin, and Emily Golinsky and her wife Michelle Cyr; his great-grandchildren, Jack and Elle; his brother-in-law Irwin Baron and his wife Faye; his daughter-in-law Gail Golinsky; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his son Jed Golinsky, his sister-in-law Joyce Baron, and his sisters, Irene Weinbaum and Anne Berman.
