Phyllis “Chia” Robin Waltman, 65, of Gainesville, Fla., died Sept. 27. She was the wife of Taras Mizrahi. Born in Hartford and raised in West Hartford, she was the daughter of Fran Waltman and the late Dr. Irving Waltman of West Hartford. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her siblings, Richard Waltman and his wife Ruth of Gig Harbor, Wash., Marjorie Feldman and her husband Howard of Roseburg, Ore., and Laurence Waltman and his life partner Joseph Lembo of New York City; her aunt Alberta Swett of Revere, Mass.; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.
