Rubin Potoff, 94, of North Franklin, formerly of West Hartford, died Nov. 15. He was the beloved widower of Gilda R. Potoff. Born in Waterbury, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sophie (Kaplan) Potoff. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater of Battle in the Army Air Corps. He is survived by his children, Stephen Potoff and his wife Deborah of Wellsley, Mass., Susan Neufeld and her husband Michael of Orange, Lynn C. Potoff of Wells, Me., Jayne Civitello and her husband Michael of North Franklin, Joseph A. Potoff of Middletown, and Carol Buell and her husband Douglas of Thomaston; his grandchildren, Sara Neufeld and her husband Chris Clemens of New York, Heather Neufeld of New York, Ryan Potoff and his wife Maya of California, George Potoff of Colorado, Anthony Buell of Thomaston; and his great-grandsons, Maceo and Paxton Clemens of New York. He was also predeceased by his brothers, David Potoff and William Potoff.
