Ellis Mayer, 85, of Bloomfield, died Nov. 6. He was the widower of Judi L. Mayer. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Harry and Pearl Mayer. He is survived by his children, Howard Mayer and his wife Kathy Rosol of Windsor, and Lori Middleton and her husband Joseph of Torrington; and his grandchildren, Allison and Paige. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Martin and Arnold.
