Alan Lakin, 68, of Hamden, died Nov. 14. He was the husband of Joan (Field) Lakin, died Nov. 14. Born in Laconia, N.H., he was the son of the late Seymour and Edith (Auerbach) Lakin. He is survived by his children, Brian Lakin and his wife Michelle of Hamden, and Sara Ruggiero and her husband Christopher of Hamden; his sister Joyce Antisell and her husband Douglas of Ocean, N.J.; and his grandchildren, Shayna, Jacob, Jack, Aaron, and Marcus.
